real friends vs. fake ones

Hey Bloggers,

Today I had an interesting experience. I discovered that you should not only not trust anybody that has previously possibly screwed me over. I'm not entirely sure if I learned my lesson the first time, so I got to to learn it this time. I guess you would like so background info, correct?

Ok, well I had this really good friend (I won't mention names) and we used to be so close. I told her everything and she was always there for me through all my bumps in the road. Well, recently she ditched me for another one of our mutual friends. Don't get me wrong, she can be friends with whoever she wants. I'm not complaining, I have my own friends. But, stupidly I kept on telling her stuff that was important to me. Certain secrets that shouldn't be shared outside the two of us. To save myself the disappointment of her telling someone else (mostly the girl that she ditched me for). Since the girl she ditched me for is one of our mutual friends to begin with, I told her the same secrets. Who would have knew that they would be talking about my secrets in public? With other people? Whatever, it's alright. I still have my girls that I know will stay true to me (:

So moral of my story? Know your true friends, separate them from the fake people that should not have an important part in your life. Be aware of your secrets and who you tell them to.

I'm off to bed,
night!

Hello Blog World (:

Sooooo, hey there everybody! This is my first posting. I'm not really sure what to get out of this whole blog thing, maybe a few readers, yeah?

Isn't high school supposed to be the best time of your life? That's what adults have told me. Well, adults, I think you have been lying to me. It hasn't been all that great. Let's recap the past two years so far.

Freshman year- I got my first broken heart. I got my second broke heart. (And no, boys aren't everything in my life) I tore my ACL. (Okay, so maybe that year doesn't seem that bad, but it was. I swear)

Sophomore year (so far)- 3rd concussion. I lost my best friend. I think I got swine flu. I didn't make the club volleyball team, so I'm not playing club. My ex-best friend has made my life a living hell. Relationships? Forget it. There really haven't been any. Boys are dumb! My great grandmother's health has gone down. (It may not seem like a lot, or nothing at all, or maybe you have gone through worse things. But when you add everything up, it's been a lot!)

That's been high school so far. But there are good things about it, like some of my friends. Allow me to introduce you to them.

Laurie (Best Friend)- This girl, how do I even begin to describe her? She's been my backbone ever since I met her. Laurie is one of those people that I may not have many serious deep conversations with, but boy can she make me laugh. I always have such a good time with her. I've had a lot of friendships that have been like roller coasters, but Laurie has been that one friend that I've maintained and has never let me down. I can count on her for anything.

Michael (Kinda Best Friend/Ex-Boyfriend)- This one is too long of a story to really type out. I guess you kinda have to have been in my life since November of 2007 to really understand everything me and this boy have been through. But currently he is my best friend. He understands me better than anybody I have ever known.

Sarah (Senior Best Friend)- How do I explain Sarah? Well she's my best friend. I wouldn't be going in a straight line without her. She gives the greatest advice and life would be off without my Beara!

Melina (Really Close Friend)- I don't know what I would do without May May! She's great.  I tell her almost everything, I know I can trust her. The crazy thing is, Melina and I have been secretly connected our whole lives. We say we're related because of this crazy commonality between us. But also, we say we're related because we might as well be.

Hayley (Another Really Close Friend)- As crazy as it seems, Hayley and I have more in common than anybody would ever think. I don't think I could function without her in my life. She's been there for me through a lot this year. Through best friends, boyfriends, and volleyball I know I can always count on Hayley!

Rosie and Sydney (Good Friends)- These girls are great. I know I can depend on them. They will back me up on anything and I love them for it.

So yes, these would be some of my friends. I have more, I really do, but they haven't made as big as an impact in my life as these guys. What mostly sucks about school is that Laurie and Michael don't go to the same school as me. If they did, I would be unstoppable.

Well that's all for now. I'll be writing again soon. (:
